Business Women in Hertfordshire

Monday, September 28, 2015

Local leading enterprise agency for Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire, Wenta, are launching their new women’s business network, ‘Sapphire’, on the 1st October at Champneys – Tring.

Helping over 1000 people to start up their own business every single year, Wenta is a not-for-profit organisation with over 30 years of experience in helping local people to start-up and grow their own businesses.

The Sapphire women’s business network offers much more than just your standard business networking group. As well as providing a supportive and learning environment for local women in business to make new connections, members will be given 2.5 hours of individual business coaching from Wenta as well as access to Wenta’s award-winning training courses and online business advice.

Sapphire network hosts, Thea Bloyce and Sharon Gaffney, are not only expert business advisors, they also have experience of starting and running their own businesses themselves. Thea said:

“We are very excited to be launching this women’s business network which not only brings local businesses together, it also offers business training and a member’s business directory which will be shared with over 11,000 businesses on Wenta’s database.”

The FREE launch event will provide more information on the new networking group. Speaking at the event will be Google Adwords expert, June Cory (My Mustard), and Helen King (Autorama). There will also be the opportunity to network with other like-minded business women.

Although not specifically aimed at bloggers, this event could prove very useful if you're interested in launching your own business or want advice on how to take your blogging business to the next level, make sure you book a place!

The launch will be held on Thursday 1st October (9.30am – 12pm) at Champneys Tring, Chesham Road, Wigginton, Hertfordshire, HP23 6HX.
